So I will be request you to kindly raise this matter to Concern and try to uprade a function in Server Console that if any of the SEP application got corrupted. How To Remotely Uninstall SEP

How To Remotely Uninstall SEP clients via the SEPM using the Competitive Uninstall tool on CD2

In CD2\Tools\CompetitiveUninstall\ there is a SEPUninstaller directory. The readme.txt inside details how to use the tool to remove SEP remotely using the 'Find Unmanaged Computers' tool in the SEPM.

Hello, The SEPprep tool can

Hello,

The SEPprep tool can be used to do this.  SEPprep can be found on the SEP CD under the following folder: \Tools\NoSupport\CompetitiveUninstall\

Here are the steps you can use to create a package for uninstalling the SEP client remotely from SEPM:

1.       Copy the SEP folder from the SEP CD onto your system.

2.       Delete all files from this folder (including subfolders) except:

a.      setAid.ini

b.      Setup.ini

c.      smcinst.exe

d.      SyLink.xml

3.       Copy the SEPprep.exe file (from the SEP CD) into this folder and rename it to “Setup.exe”.

4.       Copy the attached SEPprep.txt file into this folder and rename it to SEPprep.ini (the attached file is already configured for you).  So you should have six files in this folder:

a.      SEPprep.ini (from the attached file)

b.      setAid.ini

c.      Setup.exe  (this is the renamed SEPprep.exe file)

d.      Setup.ini

e.      smcinst.exe

f.       SyLink.xml

5.       Edit the Setup.ini file and change the line that says “ProductVersion=” to some larger value.  Example: ProductVersion=11.0.9000.9000     OR      ProductVersion=12.1.9000.9000

a.       Note only the first three numbers are used, so if you only change the last number it will not allow you to add it into SEPM.

6.       Import this package into SEPM and call it something like “Package to remove SEP clients”.

7.       Assign this package to a group in SEPM and all clients in that group will uninstall the SEP client automatically.

Note: you can do the same thing to create a 64bit SEP removal package, but you will need to use the SEPWin64 folder from the SEP CD instead of the SEP folder and you will use the SEPprep64.exe rather than the SEPprep.exe file.

Be careful, this package will remove SEPM if assigned to a client that has SEPM on it!
