There is currently no way to remove a stale host from the VOM interface. Please create this functionality in future versions of VOM.

Hi,

You can use the following command to manage configured hosts in Veritas Operations Manager.
vomadm host-mgmt [--remove --host <hostname> | --remove --hostfile <file> | --list ]

list: Lists all hosts configured as agents to the Veritas Operations Manager Management Server.

remove: Removes specified host(s) from Veritas Operations Manager. To remove a single host, use the --host option. To remove multiple hosts use the --hostfile option.

Hi,

Thanks for reponnding with the solution however what we're looking for is a way to remove the stale hosts using VOM GUI and not the command line interface. It is currently impossible to do this in with the current VOM version 4.1.

Let me know if I'm missing anything.

Thanks.
