At our site, we have been slowly virtualizing our servers.  I have decided to take advantage of that and use Hyper-V agents to simplify our full backups.  However, since a Hyper-V backup will not reset the archive bits, even with GRT enabled, I cannot use that as part of my weekly rotation of Full and Differential backups.  That means each weekend I would have to run at least two separate backups for each machine, a normal RAWS backup, and a Hyper-V backup.  With my disk space situation as it is, and our budget, that is not practical.

Please consider adding in functionality to reset the archive bits during a Hyper-V/VMWare backup wit GRT.

Thanks pkh!  I have heard a lot about BE 2012, but did not know if I wanted to upgrade anytime soon due to the number of comments I heard about it being to diffictult to use or get used to.  I will mark this as one more reason to make the switch in the near future.
