Would it be possible to build like rules for machines that drop into the default group a bit like rules on outlook.

So for example a machine drops into default and if it meets certain criteria within the rule set e.g. windows xp the rule then moves it to a desktop group you've already created. windows server 2008 goes to a server group.

With all the adjustments made in SEP in large companies some tech services will build with an old package where the group may no longer exist resulting in the machine falling into default group. There may be policies applied to specific groups that are needed for that machine that may not be available in the default group. With this rule base the SEPM would be able to at least distribute the machines to a group that has the correct policy needed.
