Send email to post reply to forum article

In SalesForce.Com, there is a great integration of emails and sales-force case comments. There is a common email address to which one need to send email, with a reference (generated once by sales-force.com) to the case, and the email gets attached to the case.
I am sure this can be implemented for symconnect also. There are lot of people who access emails through smart devices, or even prefer to use email-clients as much as possible. So for a particular post, he wants to respond, it should be as easy as sending email to the specific id, with some unique reference to the original post. The reference can be embedded when the notification is generated for subscribed users.

The symconnect on mobile
The symconnect on mobile device needs you to login for replying. If I got email on my mobile device and I can respond from same interface ie email, I don't need to login.
Symconnect on mobile is good for more browsing.

I think the problem with
I think the problem with replying by email is spam as this will make it a lot easier for people to spam discussions as they can automate it which currently is prevented as I beleive you have to enter a non-machine-readable number (I had to do this before I was a TA, so I presume this is still in place).
So I think being able to post by email could definately be available to TA's and I think it could be more widely available to people you have provided, say, 5 solutions or more, as I can't imagine any spammers can get 5 solutions (they may get 1 or 2 by providing solutions to their own posts using different userids).

One of the concerns about
One of the concerns about providing email replies to forums is that with the quick moving forum threads the sequencing could be difficult.
