SEP Client to automatically locate its closest GUP

Not sure whether this has already been posted.?
Would it be possible, in larger, distributed environments for SEP Clients to automatically locate their closest logical GUP?
(Based on a GUP in the same subnet - For example).

We already do this today, if
We already do this today, if you have a look in the LiveUpdate policy, you have the option to enable a GUP based on criteria - the clients will then find the GUP in their subnet and use it.
Its not perfect - if you dont have a GUP in the subnet, the client has to fail over to a specific GUP, but its solving the problem for a lot of customers today.
