SEP Virus Scan Exclusion with Wildcards
Created: 13 Feb 2013 | Updated: 13 Feb 2013 | 1 comment
One of my application generates files with file name like ABC001.XYZ, ABC002.XYZ, ABC003.XYZ and so on. I need to exclude these files from virus scanning. I can't exlude other files in the folder and also I can't exclude the .XYZ extension.
Use of wildcards in exclusion such as ABC***.XYZ may be helpful in this case. If such feature is available or can come in future releases, it would be of great help.

Hi Sharma,
I doubt if this is something that is possible, unless this could be really tested on a test environment as this is subjective. However, as you have already mentioned, you can always register your enhancement requests as per the below KB links so that this could be given a thought by the respective audience!

Hope that helps!
