From some time, default search is set to "User" search. This kind of search is absolutely useless, but it set as default. So every time i need to search something on this site, i need to switch to "Entire Site".

Search default is set to "user" when you're in the user section.
Can you give us an example (URL) where you're seeing the user tab set as default in other parts of the site?

I allways start work with site from link in my e-mail message, Alex Zn. There i can see all my forum discussions. Few month search engine by default was set to "entire site" and it was good for me. I dont see the problem for myself, i just think that if novice will try to find some information and will get "nothing found" cause he not set proper option, it will not be good.

As Kevin has stated above, this is the default if you're in the 'User' section & I agree that a search based on User is just about pointless - I seldom have had the need to search for a particular user - but as I mentioned in the other 'Idea':
Personally, don't see the point of changing this for the sake of one click of the mouse.

I have seen it many times where the default returns to user when I am searching for something. Default should never be user. It should be searhing in the forum that you have navigated to.

Personally only ever seen "user" when I'm in the user section (i.e. account), if you're seeing it elsewhere can you provide an example for Kevin & the guys to check out?
