Not sure if this has been raised in the past, but thought I'd put this in here.

Could the Symantec Web Gateway fully support users in Citrix and Microsoft Terminal Services?

Enabling Virtual IP in Citrix doesn't really work and I'm sure there lots of CItrix and TS users out there which could benefit from this and it would be an extra selling point as well.

Cheers

Symantec Web Gateway tracks users by IP address. If you are using DC interface to make the user to ip correlation, if a citrix user's login can be seen on the DC as coming from the virtual IP of their session and that virtual IP is seen by the SWG it will work as expected. The issue is more likely with how citrix handles logins and or virtual IPs.

Attempting NTLM authentication may resolve the issue as well, but do not use both NTLM and DCinterface at the same time.

I've removed DC Interface and 'turned on' NTLM. Looks like it is working on my test Citrix server. The username gets attached to the VIP and a policy is applied. Going to test with a few Live servers next week.

Thanks for the help in this. The forums have been super helpful.
