Alternative Solution
There are many replies in Symantec Connect forum remains as it is, without being marked as solution, however they are actually the solution. This could be because of user not knowing the importance of marking a solution or because of not bothering to mark as solution. And this discourages the participants.
Just to encourage more people to join Connect and try to provide solution, it is extremely important to look at this issue.
My idea is- may be someone from Symantec review all the thread which are 1-2 months old and mark solution, if someone has actually provided it.

Reviewing all threads is not likely going to happen. The community managers have their hands full with so many other tasks. Reading through each thread would take a lot of time out of our days. If you see threads that have an obvious solution posted, PM the link to the community manger. They can then mark the post solved.
