I recently learned from case number 03321530 that the users good sender list that each user setups up is overwritten by  the content filter. This doesn't make any sense to me. If I have 10,000 users and i setup the system and train the users to logon the spam filter to manage there own personal good and bad senders list, Why would the genral content filtering policy setup by the admin override this. The user is personally saying I know this person but then because the keywords China ford trucks come up and it was added to our dictionary because of other spam we received that somehow takes priority over the users verification that they know that person. Nope that doesn't make any sense at all.

It depends on how you look it .Consider Spam as User Issue ( Whether he wants it or not such as marketing mails ,offers ,invitations for seminars or stuff like that  ) and Content Filterting as Organizational issue ( To Implement Organizational Policies). so your Content Filtering Polices should be very clear and to the point such as You may want to control the size of attachment being sent or received , you may want to control certain information flow (Confidential data /Company proprietary material ,Credit card numbers ,Customer Information etc.).
