currently, the events which are configured in the rules are reported 24/7.
there should be the possibility to define timeperiods, where the messages are reported (e.g. production 24/7, non production 10/5)

For certain events do you want to send an e-mail/SNMP trap/run script only within the defined time period? Example, if production 10/5 you only execute the event from 9-5 M-F. Is this correct?

yes, that's exactly that what I mean. It would be nice to define these templates like 7/24, 10/5 (with user defined times like 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. ) and allocate them to hosts or business units.
