A tool for managing client platforms patches
I would like to propose a tool for Symantec partners.
Sometimes when the client portfolio grows, it is difficult to keep up-to-date on the launch of the updates and if they are required or not for our customers.
So, I propose to create a tool, only available through PartnerNet web site, that enable us to know if a recent update is applicable to a specific customer.
I.e., we can populate the tool (maybe in a table format) with the Customer's name, product's version currently running on the platform. Then, when a new update is released for that product, an additional column reflects the most updated version available to deploy, if applicable, and the level of severity/urgency to take action.
What do you think?, (I think is a great idea)
