Unable to add an image to a post
Created: 21 Mar 2013 | 6 comments
I am unable to add an image to my posts.
1) the Add Image button has become something called IMCE (see attached - IMCE.png)
2) when I click on the IMCE button, I see a tree structure (see attached - File Browser.png). I don't see any of my previous images or a way to add new ones.

Hi pkh,
Each Connect user now has their own files directory that they can upload images to.
Click the "upload" icon that appears on the top-left corner of the file management window to upload new files.

What about the images that we have uploaded previously? Are they gone?
Our old system stored all the images in one common directory.
There are now 30,000 images in that directory -- they will not be deleted.
Probably the best way to re-use an image is to go to the HTML page where the image was first featured, right-click to save it to your hard drive, and then upload to your new personal directory.
Hope this helps,
Kevin
O.K. It looks like I would have to build up my library again.
BTW, what does IMCE stands for?
Hi pkh,
You can read more about IMCE here: http://drupal.org/project/imce

pkh: I'm not exactly sure what IMCE stands for but I do know it is related to the TinyMCE rich-text editor.
According to Wikipedia, the "MCE" in TinyMCE stands for "Moxiecode Content Editor" so, I guess that solves part of the puzzle.
