Hello,
The UnManaged Detector at present is detecting machines on a local subnet only. Hope this Feature could be enhanced to scan entire network as well.

I agree.
Until earlier launched an idea about it.
A scanner would help a lot to get in line machines. It would be good idea if this solution improve because it would take would install scan before and after applying accordingly.

Yes please so that I do not have to elect UMD in every subnet.

Please be nice to me as I'm newbie in this forum.
This is a great idea. But unfortunately we are limited by the subnet. There is no way a system can tell when new computers are added to other subnets without scanning the remote subnet or getting a feed from the switch.
Scanning the subnet would not only take time but it would require more configuration for the subnet IP addresses. This is not a good solution.
Taking a feed from the switch would require enabling features of the switch, such as SNMP. This may not be available on all switches and it could be quite complicated to setup. Again this is not a good solution.
There is no easy technical solution for building this feature.
