veritas check point documentation suggestion

I was looking for documentation about veritas check point. how to administer it. this is version 5.1

At first, I look through the "Vxfs admin guide". it asked me to looked at the "Advance feature guide"

When I do, the "Advance feature guide" referred back to the "vxfs admin guide".

Perhaps such documentation loop shouldn't exist?

What i would like to know:

  • how checkpoint works. 
  • how could it be backed up?
  • how does it react to fsck
  • is it just a mount resource in VCS with type vxfs? 
  • how to see if there is any checkpoint filesystems in a diskgroup
  • there may be more.....

I agree that we need to establish a clearer path for retrieving elements from our documentation.  In the interim, please take a look at the following Yellow Book for our Snapshot facilities:\
