is there a way for snapshots from failed backup jobs can be set to auto delete themselves? 

if there is a network issue or the vcenter server has a problem it seems to leave the snaps out there.

not a lot but I'm backing up 50 VMs and over the last year it built up to over a dozen snaps hung up ou there.
