Hi Even,
Thanks for your feedback.
We're getting mixed reports of site performance -- some users are reporting it responds quickly while others report that it takes 60 seconds (or more!) to load each page.
Can you help us identify the problem by giving us some details?
- Are pages taking a minute or longer to load?
- What brand and version of web browser are you using?
- Are you a Symantec Employee? (We're looking into DNS issues that appear to be impacting employees.)
Thanks!
Kevin
I agree with Even, sometimes it takes 2 minutes for the page to load.
Cheers!

We're still waiting for Even to confirm how long it's taking for pages to load for him.
You have, however, confirmed what we've been hearing from other Symantec employees -- there seems to be something that's making the site load extremely slow for users behind the Symantec firewall.
Hopefully (for the sake of our employees) the Symantec network team can figure out what the issue is.
Thanks for taking the time to chime in.
Kevin
@jhen,
What browser are you using?
I just spoke with a Symantec employee who claims his switch to Firefox has improved his page load time dramatically.
I would like to confirm that the Employee issue may be related to Internet Explorer before we pursue it.
Thanks again,
Kevin
I am seeing the same issue with performance. I was initially using IE 8 and use it within our network. It would take almost 1 min to load most of the pages on SymConnect. Though on Firefox 3.5, the performance was little better since it would load in less than 30 secs. Hope that helps.
