I am using backup exec 2015 (version 14.2) to backup an ndmp server.  I could add the server properly using trusted connection. However when I try to browse for the shares to backup , the backup exec console hangs. I am using windows 2012 R2 to run backup exec.

Would like to know Netbackup supports Postgress DB Online backup?  Is there any other thirst party which intregated with Netbackup to take Postgress DB online backup. Ankit

hi, I am new here. I like to know if i must to freeze a service group on a node from vcs if: -i use vxrecover to resync mirror plex or raid5 -i add or remove disk into or from a dg. - i extend a volume. -any other operation within diskgroup that not requires dg import or export. could i use the above and fsadm online with users?tnx a lot. We are planning on setting up NB on DR site. As PoC, at this time, we only want to be able to start NB on DR, and replicate all Database and needed files in order to start up NB server. Backups and archive data are not needed. However, the storage supports snapshot based volumes/lun replications, but doesn't have a tool to freeze up ...

I have just tried to install new SPE 7.8 for NAS and this version is just a joke. It is not normal in 2016 to have antivirus  application with no gui for managing or consultiongs logs files. This really a bad idea to configure in command line with xml files when the CIFS NAS is big, have many long path and regularly remove or add FS.
