Me Too!I have the same issue
Product(s): Backup Exec, Backup Exec - 2010
Severity: Non-data threatening / major functionality
Status: Investigating/gathering information
Tech Note: More Information

The SAP Agent acts as a client for Backup Exec. Through the biparam.ini file, you set Backup Exec parameters for the jobs that you submit from SAP interfaces. For example, you can set a job name, specify a server or device to use for the job, or specify the backup compression mode.

It has been observed a BE 2010 R3 SAP Agent job configured to goto a Tape device may experience the behavior noted above.
