Me Too!I have the same issue
Product(s): Backup Exec, Backup Exec - 2010
Severity: Non-data threatening / major functionality
Status: Investigating/gathering information
Tech Note: More Information

BERemote.exe on the media server is crashing with the following in the event log:

Faulting application name: beremote.exe, version: 13.0.5204.0, time stamp:

Faulting module name: bedsvmvcb.dll, version: 13.0.5204.0, time stamp:
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00000000000a8201
Faulting process id: 0xa54
Faulting application start time: 0x01cc09a8b4dd9507
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\beremote.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\bedsvmvcb.dll
This is happening during the backup of around 50 AVVI systems and is during a memory free() operation.  The heap appears to have been corrupted.
At this time, we are trying to narrow down the particular set of circumstances that cause the problem to occur.
