BESR report the “blank” status although the schedule failed.

 When the schedule backup fails because network is disconnected, the error
message below is logged to Event log and BESR’s log file.

  2008/11/25 4:11:45 Notification Type: Error Priority: High:
  Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job:  Drive Backup of (E:\)
  Error E7D1001F: Unable to write to file
  Error EBAB03F1: The specified network name is no longer available.
  Error E7D10046: Unable to set file size.
  Error EBAB03F1: The specified network name is no longer available. 0xEBAB0005
(Backup Exec System Recovery)

And, in the “status” page, the icon is disappeared

A supported hotfix has been made available for this issue. Please contact Symantec Technical Support to obtain this fix. This hotfix has not yet gone through any extensive Q&A testing. Consequently, if you are not adversely affected by this problem and have a satisfactory temporary workaround in place, we recommend that you wait for the public release of this hotfix.

Hi!

I have the same message, how to get this hotfix with out subscription with symantec Technical Suppor?

when I plan a backup in 5 min, it works. But a backup plans in on week, it doesn't work.

Any idea?
