Problem

When attempting to open a recovery point using the Recovery Point Browser or the Granular Restore Option, crashes are seen in V2iBrowser.exe and GranularRestore.exe. These can be seen in the Windows event logs (see example below).

Error

Faulting application V2iBrowser.exe, version 10.0.2.44074, faulting module V2iBrowser.exe, version 10.0.2.44074, fault address 0x004dcf7e.

Windows SBS 2011 Standard

Solution

At the current time, there is no workaround available.
