Hi - the link to "More information" in this post doesn't work. What is the tech note number? Just got exactly the same problem. Our Quantum Superloader went bye-bye this morning so powered down the media server and the tape drive. Now BE is just sat saying "Discovering devices" for about 15 minutes so far for all devices (tape loader, B2D x 2 devices and deduplication device).

Cheers, Rob.

Thanks - although it turned out I just had to be patient. The devices came back online after about 10 minutes.

Cheers, Rob.

Out of interest, what exactly is BE doing when "Discovering devices"?

Thanks, Rob.
