Problem

Exchange 2010 GRT restore of calendar item fails with error “0xe00002fd - Cannot restore properties for one or more messages or folders” and the EWS log reports the error “Exception in Commit Unable to convert 2009-01-01T00:00:00 from (GMT+08:00) Perth to UTC.”

 

Error

Final error: 0xe00002fd - Cannot restore properties for one or more messages or folders. Review the credentials for the resources in the job, and then run the job again. Final error category: Resource Errors For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-765
 

 

Solution

 Workaround:

  • Restore to Recovery Database.

This issue is currently under investigation by Symantec Corporation. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software.
