GRT Backup of Sharepoint 2007 Content DB that has additional Filegroups or Datafiles (.NDF) fails with 0xe0001602 - Access is denied (Share point backup).

If an SQL database, used for a Sharepoint 2007 Content DB, has additional Filegroups and\or Datafiles (.ndf), GRT backups of the Sharepoint Site using that Content DB, will fail with the error "0xe0001602 - Access is denied (Share point backup)". Non-GRT Sharepoint or SQL backups of that Content DB, will be successful.

I am getting the following error with Backup Exec 2012 version 14.0 Rev 1798
Please advise on the error
Can you please check whether you are taking Snapshot backups of Sharepoint (i.e. have the Advanced Open File Option (AOFO) enabled in the job)? If so, can I please ask that you test backups of Sharepoint without that enabled, as I have seen a similar issue when snapshot backups are used, but work successfully when disabled.
The GRT data available for restore will be the same with either option, but the data backed up will be less, as the snapshot backup will also backup the LDF log file, which can be large.
This issue has now been resolved in the Backup Exec 2010 R3 build. Please upgrade prior version of Backup Exec 2010 to this build, to allow GRT backup and restores of Content DBs with multiple data files.
Not resolved for me.
I'm using BE 2010 r3 with the SP ageant and experiencing the same problem, no GRT backup of SharePoint 2010 or SP 3.0.
This seemed to work fine with BE 12.5 and SP 3.0 before upgrading to SP 2010 r3.
Any other thoughts?
