How many more years is this HUGE issue going to plague Backup Exec?  I bet Veritas 9.1 can remove it's own backup files from a basic USB device.  How you are allowed to charge (a lot!) for this Software and not have to mention this extremely severe problem, is beyond me..

The last thing that I read about this issue was that the IMG folders do not adhere to the media set rules for overwriting media.

I'm guessing this is filling up your RDX cartridges and causing backups to time out the same as it is with me?

The only thing that I have been able to do to make the backup run consistantly is to add a IMG folder delete.bat file as a pre command before the job runs. This however seems a bit over the top for the issue, I guess I am missing an option somewhere that needs to be changed indecision?

Any ideas or knows solutions would be greatfully recieved...

Cheers
