An Agent for VMware Infrastructure (AVVI) backup job of a 2008 Domain Controller, hosted in ESX, completes successfully. A review of the event logs after the backup has completed shows that source ESENT recorded an lsass error whilst attempting to access the NTDS files. The NTDS files have been configured in a custom location and the error message indicates that an incorrect drive letter is defined for the location of the files.
