Tech Note: More Information

Error:

Backups Fail with Error:0x84d9 - 0x 84d9 (34009) Other errors. The catalogs folder path contains an incorrect space in it.

 

Solution:

Edit the catalogs path in the Backup Exec UI, inspect the path for wrong characters and spaces, then correct the path so it is valid.

I have had it with this program and Symantec! It’s a daily constant battle to back up. From all the errors to  support to licensing to this convoluted web site. I am DONE……
