Problem

Opt-Dupe jobs may appear to hang during media dismount operations when the device and media database is stored on a remote Central Administration Serve across a Wide-Area Network (WAN) connection.
 
 
Error

From the adamm.log, the following error may be reported: ERROR = 0xE0008114 (E_PVL_CHANGER_NOT_AVAILABLE)
