Symantec System Recovery 2011 Granular Restore Option (GRO) console generates an 'Error encountered while attempting to prepare the Message Store' when expanding the Exchange data.

The image file can be opened correctly using the Recovery Point Browser and GRO will be able to expand drive data in the File\Folder tab.
