When backing up a virtual machine that has DFSR enabled using Agent for VMware Virtual Infrastructure (AVVI), the backup may complete with the exception "Directory 'DfsRoots\Namespace\DFS-Share' does not support Granular Recovery Technology (GRT)."

Do you know if a version is planned that will not have this issue? This error prevents me from being able to suggest this as a usable product.
It's not an error, it is a warning. It has no impact on the backup or the ability to restore. DFS leaf objects don't really exist, they're just links to a real folder location. The real folder location is backed up with GRT and can be restored on a file and folder basis.
That's part of the reason I posted this issue here. We are looking into what can be done about this message.

There's a Technote (http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH63876) on this issue; but its not acceptable that the entire job goes into "completed with exceptions"! There must be an option to hide this error!
