To analyse you should also look in engine_A.log and agent log for the type of your resource - example IP.log. This depends on VCS version as well. In VCS 5.0 on Solaris, HP-ux and AIX, whether to start with "-onenode", I think was determined dynamically by the rc scripts, not by setting "ONENODE", but in 5.0 Linux this was set by ONENODE (in /etc/sysconfig/vcs).
