Ever wish you could locate an easy to read Altiris project timeline and roadmap for any of the Altiris components? Ever wish that timeline included a list of features and the expected date of release? Well, if you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are in the same boat as me. I wish that Symantec offered up project-related information that listed the new features in the works and the expected date of release. FileConnect latest changes do no longer include the HTTP download option but only the Java one, which most likely will redirect you to if your browser blocks the plugin. The idea is to restore the HTTP download option on FileConnect. Please vote Up if you like the idea.

This would be good in all of the Altiris Agents, as this would allow us to distinguish between a machine being off-line and having had the agent removed. Kindest regards, QuietLeni

Right now it is very difficult to see to which Organizational View and Group a given Security Role has access permissions. It is only possibly OV by OV which is not helping to gain an overview. I'd like to see: - Drill-down capable report which displays the OVs and after drilldown all Security Roles which have permissions on that OV and which permission - Drill-down capable report which displays the Security Roles and after drilldown shows to which OVs those Security Roles have access ...

We would like to have a virtual appliance officially created for Mobility Suite.  This would include options to: 1. Deploy a new installation 2. Add an additional FE (front end) 3. Setup a production database for use with Mobility 4. Deploy an HA (high availability) RabbitMQ cluster 5. Deploy an App or Email Proxy 6. A remote support/access option ... This virtual appliance would come fully hardened and certified for on premise deployments of Mobility Suite.
