When a user/admin wants to find out what software is installed, he usually looks at the Windows Add/Remove Software dialog. It would be great if SVS layers would be listed in that dialog, which is the idea. posted by Scott and solved by Rajat.
An advancement would be if the user could control the layers from within this list. At least to reset a layer. Maybe it could be extended to some more functions, but I doubt that this would give more flexibility then using the SVS Admin console.

I don't think this will be a solution, you don't want users to have access to the Add\Remove panel, they can remove also software which is installed by the company.
