Thanks for the reply.. so this still does not solve the problem as we will need to put the excel file with credit card data somehwere...

I've received word that some of my clients are receiving a BSOD 2-3 times a day due to Symantec's symtdi.sys file.  However, in looking for more information on this matter I don't see anything in the forums about this so I thought I'd ask.  Here is some details on on what its happening to: OS - Windows XP SP3 Symantec Client version - 12.1.671.4971
