When we move the mouse pointer or cursor on the Symantec Endpoint Protection icon in the system tray we get the following information.     However it would be great if we can see the below information when we move the mouse pointer or cursor on the Symantec Endpoint Protection icon in the system tray. If this is possible, we need not open the SEP console for viewing the below information.

Here's an idea... Every time I'm in the SEPM and I refresh what I'm looking at (connection status of a client PC on the 2nd page of my three page client list, for ex), I have to navigate back to page 2 of 3. In Monitors, I'm watching the command status. In refreshing, I'm thrown back to the Monitor summary page, and I have to select the command status tab to get back. A little thing yes, but over time, that adds up to a lot of unneccessary repitition. Just a ...

The GUP monitoring tool is helpful in administration and it would be good to integrate this into SEPM.

"Yes to All" for Deployment Package Conflict dialog box

When customers use the Upgrade Groups Wizard and select large heirarchy's of groups to upgrade they will get a dialog popup that they have to accept for every group and sub group.  Can be hundreds of popups. This apparenly was not a problem before 11.0.7 but is still in SEP 12.1 RU1. (12.1.1000.0157). A "yes to all" option for the pop-up dialog box would make alot of sense.

We can modify a limited admin to admin & vice versa. But this is not possible for a system admin. We cannot change a 'system admin' to 'admin' or 'limited admin'. And we cannot change a 'admin' or 'limited admin' to a 'system admin'. This should be possible as the requirement changes along with users role in the project.

Hello, It would be great if SEPM console has a new command to be runned on remote clients that require a SNAC re-authentication. In some cases, network switches will take time to re-authenticate machines. Customers who face issues with 802.1x might still allow machines to access the network even if they failed compliance check.

I know that within the tool there are canned policies for use.  I think it would be great if there were a centralized location where we could share policy templates that we have developed.

We had an undetected virus mini outbreak today. This was resolved and I wanted to submit the file to Symantec. On our old AV product it was easy as the client had a submit suspect virus button. Symantec SEP 12.1 RU1  makes it a complex process. Please make it easy to quickly submit suspect files by giving the client a simple button and easy questions that don't need digging out customer numbers etc. I don't want to set the automatic send feature and as it wasn't ...

Hi,   I am using the SEPM server from last 1 year and get the great success in using ADC policy. ADC policy will help me in all the matter but symantec not have any utility to block the USB in Safe Mode. So that most of the comapny use the Active directy Service to block the Acess because it helpfull in Safe Mode also. If symantec can implement these type of changes in ADC policy and no one can acess the usb even login in Safe Mode, then it will come the Gr8 sucess to ...
