If D drive is a partition on a basic disk you will need to upgrade this to a SFW dynamic diskgroup and create an SRL volume, ideally on a different disk (must be in the same diskgroup).  You then create an RDS which will create DCMs for you.  I would initiate the synchronisation using autosync which should take a couple of hours to sync 16GB at about 20mbps If it is a Bank, then I ...

Hi Ashfaq, Sorry for the long delay, I've been working elsewhere in Symantec. To answer your question -- yes, an existing VxFS file system can become a Veritas Cluster File System. The on-disk format does not in any way change, it is exactly the same. The difference is the product binaries, configuration, licenses and license keys.

Hello David, We have a requirement for SORT to provide this functionality as part of our roadmap but we don't yet have a release associated with it.  We also are looking to provide this same feature for downloading a set of patches, ASLs, and VCS agents. Thanks!  Jeff
