There are some customers who want all of their URL's in their Servicedesk System to be IP Address-based, rather than domain named-based.  For example, one might want to access the Process Manager portal by using the link

http://10.1.1.1/ProcessManager/

rather than the link

http://myserver/ProcessManager

The steps below outline the process.

1.  Login to the Servicedesk portal as someone with administrative properties.

Everywhere you look, it seems, Symantec technologies are helping to protect data in the Italian glass company’s Windows environment, fight malware, archive email, and manage clients. There’s good reason for this tightly integrated portfolio of solutions to be there too―in some instances for almost a decade. By standardizing on Symantec, Bottero is increasing its day-to-day IT administration productivity by 50 percent and achieved a complete return on its Symantec investment in 10 months. This solution also allows the company to achieve fast, effective backup and recovery of 12 offices centrally. Moreover, an entire Windows system can be restored in minutes; while the Exchange archive is being reduced by 20%, saving storage space and cutting storage investment. A crystal clear reason for adopting Symantec....
