Creating/Exporting Your Video File

Once you submit your video to the Symantec Connect team for publishing, we go through a series of encoding steps in order to publish your video using the streaming Symantec video player, and can run into encoding issues depending on the codec you used to produce your final file (see Wikipedia for a great explanation of codecs).  Here are some tips and suggestions from the Symantec video team:

Whenever possible we recommend 1280x720px as the best resolution for support as this conforms to the 16:9 ratio of the vast majority of Brightcove and YouTube players (and laptops screen, etc.). This resolution also...

Hi Team,

First of all, let me thank the whole community for being very generous in giving their ideas, thoughts and knowhow to help us in solving our issues and problems on virus infections. Symantec rewards us by giving us memorable tokens of appreciation for doing our best in giving each one a helping hand. I had noticed several members who are outside the United States that are also making this site work very professional and effective. Due to this, I would suggest that we add more rewards items to further give us the freedom to choose more...

Symantec has resolved this by using Amazon.com and other certified resellers to deliver our priceless rewards but some parts of the world would not be reached by Amazon. This is why I had proposed an idea that would help us to choose more...

Please kindly see the following link below and vote so that it would have a chance to be heard and implemented by our good Admins...

Hi I was just wondering what the Virus of the Future would be and possible impacts it could cause.

Right now at present time the things that are impacted by viruses are computers and mobilephones etc...
What would it be like in the Futures
I thinks cars would also be impacted knowing that most of the cars nowadays have computer chips on it.but how it would be impacted that I don't know yet it could be possible through the radio knowing that you can now plugin Ipods and USB devices on it .Home Appliances could also be impacted knowing that they have chips on it.

There are a lot of this that could be impacted but we never could tell till it arrives but am sure Symantec would always be there to ensure protection to users.

thanks,

Rainier
