This was a chat b/w an ex symantec technican and a customer who got assistance long back...............................................

Cust(Ray): Are you on the same job as when we last talked?

Tech(Arun): earlier I worked with Symantec and now in a diff process

Cust(Ray): I'll not forget the EXCELLENT service you provided me via Symantec on Norton. You were the most helpful, understandable tech I ever received. Thank you again for being so nice.

Tech(Arun): Thanks...Its my duty and responsibility to help customers as best as I can

Cust(Ray):PS: well you sure did a good job for me on Norton .. you just "took over the computer" and fixed it .. that was great. Only one other company has done that. You are a GOOD service tech. I do wish the very best for you ..

Cust(Ray): I just renewed the Norton 360 this week. I like it.

Norton Customer Service is Nonexistent

I am tired of trying to contact a person at Symantec or clicking on "Help", and getting nothing but computer generated responses, that usually have nothing to do with my problem.  Symantec purposely avoids supplying any Support Hotline because they want noone to ever call them with an actual problem.  The program has been, for the past 10 years, seemingly better than MacAfee, or any others that I've heard of, but the Customer Service is truly LOUSY!

What's your favorite "cloud" music? Symantec is mounting a worldwide search for the Top 10 best songs featuring the word "cloud" in the title or lyrics. The aim is to mark the launch on October 5 of a new Symantec storage offering that will enable enterprise customers to develop and manage online cloud-based services for their organizations, including the storage infrastructure essential in building their own offerings.

                                     

Symantec has already started the search for the best tracks among its own employees, turning up hits like "Cloudy" by Simon & Garfunkel and "New York Minute" by Don Henley. We hope you'll submit your own favorites to make the list as...
