A new improved OEM program has been launched in EMEA aimed at helping our system integrator partners to easily incorporate Symantec technology into their products , with the ultimate goal of helping to grow their customer base and increase their revenues.

This new program provides the full support of a dedicated Account Manager and System Engineers, and because of a lower commit figure it is more affordable to join.  Solutions included within the OEM Program are Storage & Availability Management, Information Management, Security, and Infrastructure Operations.

Symantec is going to be a main sponsor in the biggest VMware Forum events across EMEA.  The first event comes shortly after our recent announcement at the RSA conference that five new security integrations with the VMware cloud infrastructure suite have taken place (check out the press release  here).  These integrations are designed to deliver extensive protection for virtual and cloud environments along with operational cost savings.

I'm Kevin Mikalsen and I've been part of the Symantec University for Partners for nearly 5 years and as of September, I was asked to step up and lead the Enterprise Partner Readiness and Enablement efforts. In this blog, I’d like to share some reflections on the first 100 days in my new role and gather your input on how we are doing and what you'd like us to do more of.
