To enter today’s Vision Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win an Apple iPad, create blog post on Symantec Connect detailing one or more of the biggest challenges that organizations face with virtualization and how you think this can be overcome.

In the blog post, include the following items:

  • A photograph of one of Symantec’s virtualization partner’s booths. Photosfrom the Symantec Vision Flickr Group or Symantec’s Flickr account are allowed. Electronically modified photos are also accepted.
  • A photograph of a demonstration from Symantec’s booth (see resources above).
  • A link to a video on Symantec.tv that discusses “trends” or “predictions” and includes virtualization as one of them. Include in your post the time where “trends” or “predictions” is mentioned.
  • A link to one of Symantec’s SlideShare presentations that either discusses a solution to the problem...

Welcome to the official Symantec Vision 2011 Scavenger Hunt homepage.

To participate, visit this site on Monday, May 2 through Wednesday, May 4 during Vision 2011 in Las Vegas, and complete each task required. Winners will be awarded an Apple iPad or Motorola Xoom. For more information follow the #symVision hash tag on Twitter, or follow Symantec on Facebook.

Tasks will take you on a tour of Symantec's official social media accounts and the Vision venue at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Scavenger hunt contestants must post a blog entry to Symantec Connect with the items required on the task list for that day. Entries will be judged by pre-selected Symantec Connect community members.

Don't worry, if you are unable to attend Vision, you can still participate. Non-attendees will still need to complete each task with news, photos...
