Great News! Even if you didn't attend Vision 2010 in Barcelona, you can access the presentations from many of the breakout sessions and labs. Just download the presentations from the track/tracks you are interested in and you'll be well on your way to enlightenment--or close anyway.

You can access all of the posted presentations here:

Damn!

I'm missing out on what seems a great conference!

I twisted my knee and the doc restricted me to my hotel room :(

I hope you are all having a great conference though, and I will follow you from a distance...

Lol: Maybe better luck next year!

Only one day left of Symantec Vision 2010! Can you believe it? You've learned, you've laughed and you've partied. Keep the energy up just one more day, and we promise it will be worth it.

For those who haven't yet tried the Vision self-paced labs, they are well worth a look!

I expected simple VMWare Player shortcuts on the desktop, so what I saw impressed the hell out of me. The desktop just has an IE shortcut where you register to use the VMs with a username and password. You can then select you lab and in the background on a server you own VMs are generated. The dual-screen setup also allows you to throw up the lab pdf on one screen, whilst you get to work on the other.

These VMs are accessed through the browser -nothing is local. This means you can do half-an-hour over lunch, logout and come back later to your VMs just as you left them.

This is a sterling service, and a very practical solution to providing Vision labs when large blocks of free time are hard to come by!

There are currently 5 labs on there, and more labs are added daily. This is the first of its kind at Vision, so try it out (and leave your email...

Are you ready? Symantec Vision 2010 is just starting, and we've got three full days of activities planned for you. To take advantage of them all, here's some helpful information.

Keynote Update

Take Control of Your Information Don't think of the typical keynote here. One of the big changes for Symantec Vision 2010 is a new keynote format. Long-winded executive speeches are forbidden, PowerPoint slides are banned, laughter is strongly encouraged and the information is all relevant and useful. Join Symantec Vice President of Product Marketing Steve Morton when he Takes Control of the Vision stage on Tuesday at 11:00 in the Auditorium, Ground Level, CCIB. Symantec President and CEO, Enrique Salem and Senior VP for EMEA, John Brigden are slated to join Steve to examine the critical shift from “infrastructure-centric” to “information-centric” computing and discuss the implications of that shift for your organization
