Six tracks with technical content geared for the functional IT audience will be presented in break-outs and hands-on labs. They will focus on following solutions:

The 2010 Vision Las Vegas event proved to be a great opportunity for more than 2,200 colleagues to mingle with and learn from partners, peers, and Symantec experts. The actual conference may be over, but here are a few ways you can still be part of the Vision 2010 experience:

  • Download videos of Vision's unique keynotes. Imagine a conference keynote with no PowerPoints, a live band, and no boring executive speeches! That's what you missed at Vision, but you can check them out for yourself online.
  • Check out the top breakout sessions from each track. With nearly 170 break-out sessions across eight tracks, it was tough to narrow it down to our top three, but all 28 videos are now available for viewing.
  • See the pictures and interact with the folks who actually...

I have been anxiously waiting on one particular video for the breakout session titled "Latest Threats Infecting Enterprises - How to Protect Your Organization".  I have been able to find some videos on the Vision Video tab of Connect.  I have also found some documentation from the breakouts on the Vision Registration web site.

Has anyone found this particular video or heard any information about the anticipated posting date?  THANKS

When I asked several People at the conference that were getting the food out, they had no idea/no solid answer when I asked "Does anything contain nuts"

I would like to see more vendors start to provide more meal options, and be more understanding of people with food allergies. A nut allergy is severe, and I was a bit disappointed in the lunches on a few days. Overall I had a great time.

Let’s hope Symantec does it like this next year…

Well, it seems that my Vision 2010 trip will be extra long this year with a built in (not voluntary) vacation. Air space of northern Europe is closed and my flight grounded.

Vegas - I will be around for 5 more days before I MAYBE get a change to go home.

About 30 minutes before the session started, my associate Dan Brunton did a quick video.   Take a look at http://communities.intel.com/community/openportit/vproexpert/blog/2010/04/14/symantec-vision-2010-day-2

All of the seats were filled in the room.  It was a very interactive lab... not just a sit down, go through the lab document, and leave.

For those that were there - I'd enjoy getting your direct feedback.   Of course - we'll be receiving the session feedback notes in a few weeks.

If you experienced a connectivity issue during the lab.... well... my fault.   On some of the laptops, the wireless NIC switch was left on... and there was a lot of wireless signals in the area.   We found out later that this and some interesting "features" within the...
