My eTail East track presentation on security as a driver of online transactions was a big success. There were so many people in the room that the conference staff had to go out and round up some more chairs. As always we had a lively discussion and great interest after the speech.
We followed up wtih a by-invitation lunch with the online sales leaders of about twenty-five lighthouse e-commerce sites. We broke into four groups, each of which chose a topic to workshop and then read out to the rest. They were:
- Paid search and SEO
- Online security as a sales enabler (inspired by the previous speech)
- Optimizing the value of your confirmation page
- Social networking
as a sales, brand, and awareness driver
It was a nice session, and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
