Are all other tapes in scratch pool configured as HCART2?You can try freezing the tape (bpmedia -freeze -m A00020) and re-start the backup again. It shouldn't attempt backup on that tape then.

Yes, bplabel is one of the method that does the job. However as the tape doesn't has any barcode label, it would be troublesome to mount the tape manually and bplabel it (just my $0.02 worth of caution).:smileyhappy:
