That means that it is not mounting the CD root correctly to the atrsboot folder. BTW the easiest way to test this without wasting CDs/DVDs is to create a virtual pc (microsoft virtual machine is free) and load the iso as the dvd drive. ...

Installing bartpe's winpe onto a usb drive only require 256mb of space. Also you guys should check out winpe2.0 as it is easier to install on a USB HD. I recommend downloading the vista WAIK and checking the help files.

Also, DOS doesn't recognize SATA drives. Its slow because its 16 bit imaging. 32bit linux/winpe is much faster!!
