My first focus on It sinds 1987 is mainly on Citrix. I really believe in the server based computing world. It is far out one of the best concepts. To get computers enabled on Citrix, i adepted Altiris for they're great solutions. I sell and implement Deployment solutions, Notification solutions and have a focus on the security solutions. In the last year i worked very closely with the people from Altiris to improve some of they're products. Especially SvS is in my mind, because it is a unique concept. Around svs i created two aditional services. DvS4Sbc: It works great under Citrix, without the problems and the security risks the normal version brings. This product brings SvS in a Citrix environment and can give Citrix users even installer rights without any risk or interference on the servers. Have Citrix for centralized management without the restrictions it has.
In 2008 I started Project VirtualStorm. Project VirtualStorm is al about VDI. In the traditional VDI solutions there are a lot of pitfalls that make you end up with diskspace consuming images and very bad user experiences.
By The use of Symantec Workspace Virtualisation we where able to bring back the diskconsuming images to less then 2 Gb and the enduser experience is tremendous.
