The master browser error log you presented above is a Microsoft one, not related to BE.With regards to your issue, have you installed Service Pack 4a for Veritas? I would suggest trying this.

Try running tapeinst.exe, and telling it to install your Veritas drivers. I had similar issues, and doing this installed the more recent version.

Hi,Are you by chance running McAfee Virusscan 8i? This will cause this issue unless you apply patch 11, during any high performance activity. Performing a backup is one such activity.
